In 2010 we became very interested in the DIY Streets concept that was thought up by the organisation Sustrans and aims to brings communities together to help them redesign their streets, putting people at their heart and making them safer, healthier and more attractive places to live. We then learnt about the work being done by the organisation Living Streets.
Both are interested in people taking ownership over their streets and working with local councils and professionals to produce innovative and affordable solutions.
Our Connect Street project aims to bring some of these ideas to the Bath Road.
